Stop or transfer

Terminating your studies in this academic year

If you wish to terminate your studies during this academic year, you must complete the following steps:

• Study advisors
  - Inform the study advisors that you wish to stop studying IDE.
• Student Services
  - Ask for a transcript of records.
• Studielink
  - You can terminate your registration to IDE/the UT on the Studielink website. Make a Request for termination of enrolment in Studielink. Contact Student Services if you have any questions.
  - Ask for a refund of tuition fees.
• DUO
  - For Dutch students: Terminate your government loan and OV-year ticket (Studiefinanciering stopzetten en OV jaarkaart stopzetten).

Transferring

To transfer from the IDE programme to an HBO study, or to a different University major during this academic, you must complete the following steps:

• New programme study advisor
  - Discus your transfer options.
• Study advisors
  - Inform the study advisors that you wish to stop studying IDE.
• Student Services
  - Ask for a transcript of records.
  - Ask for proof of payment for your tuition fees. This is only necessary if you are transferring to a programme outside of the UT.
• Studielink
  - You can terminate your registration to IDE/the UT on the Studielink website. Contact Student Services if you have any questions.
• DUO
  - Register your transfer on DUO.
