Erasmus+ Days: Mobility of Individuals - Humanitarian Engineering

Join the online presentation to find out about the opportunities for mobility of individuals via Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (KA171), and hear about Humanitarian Engineering at UT.

The Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Project (KA171) enables project-based student, doctoral and staff mobility to specific countries outside the EU. The project focuses on the mobility of individuals to support, for instance, a common project, a new cooperative relationship, the exchange of knowledge or professional development.

Humanitarian Engineering: UT is working on a Master's programme in Humanitarian Engineering in line with the Sustainable Development Goal 1, via a multi-lateral institutional cooperation project. The programme aims to enable professionals to create innovative solutions for underserved and vulnerable areas and to understand the communities and environments where they will be deployed. This presentation focuses on the educational cooperation element through the mobility of individuals. Humanitarian Engineering is a joint initiative of the three faculties of ET, ITC and BMS.

Presenters:

  • Miranda Bönhke, Institutional Erasmus+ Coordinator
  • Dr. ir. Peter Chemweno, Assistant Professor, Advanced Manufacturing/ Humanitarian Engineering, Faculty of ET
