‘Presenting as an act of leadership’

on September 20, from 13.30-17.30 hrs.

a lunch will be served

Location: Drienerburght Hotel

Workshop moderators are:

Louise Mennen      &      Marijke van Dusseldorp

Workshop

Being a scientist, presenting is one of your core activities and you probably have built your own routine. However, do you also succeed in inspiring your audience? Do you really get in touch with them, do they remember what you said?

This workshop will help you being a successful and inspiring speaker by applying a leadership model for presentations, based on the view that relation comes before information. You will develop your own style, and become aware of your body language. We will pay attention to specific problems that woman, more than men, encounter in presenting themselves.

During the workshop, we will combine theory with practice. You bring your laptop to work on and present your own presentation. You will discover that presenting helps you to show yourself as a capable and inspiring leader.
