Possibilities for expertise development

Being a member of an Examination Board is no easy task. There is a lot involved. This website, in totality, is already a means of gaining the needed expertise. But there are other options too.

Senior University Examination Qualification

The Senior University Examination Qualification trajectory (SUEQ or in Dutch Senior Kwalificatie Examinering - SKE) is a professionalization programme for staff functioning on a senior level who, in their daily work at programme level (or higher), are involved in assuring or safeguarding the quality of assessment. Examination Board members are a specific target group for this trajectory.
For more information and to sign in: SUEQ-SKE | Educational & Professional Development | Center of Expertise in Learning & Teaching
For some background information about this trajectory, see: Expertise development and SUEQ / SKE | Expertise development and SUEQ /SKE | Home

Workshop for (new) Examination Board members

This workshop, Examination Boards: introduction to tasks & responsibilities, is offered twice a year, but can also be offered on request and, if needed, tailormade for the Examination Board of your programme or faculty. Contact Frank: f.m.j.w.vandenberg@utwente.nl. To see the dates and register, check the course finder: Course finder | Educational Professional Learning & Development | Learning & Teaching Portal

Theme workshops for examination board members

Now and then, specific theme workshops are offered. For instance, in 2024, a workshop on legal issues. Examination Boards will be informed by way of their chairs or secretaries/registrars, but keep an eye on this website too.
