Welcome to join us in contributing to the Energy Transition in Building-BRIDGE community!

 Date: 3-4 September 2025

Time:  10:30-17:00 hrs

📌LocationTechnohal &U Park hotel, UT Campus

The energy transition is upon us, demanding innovative and efficient solutions to power the future. Join us for an exciting two-day hackathon and workshop on Building energy Responsive Integration of supply and Demand engaGEment (BRIDGE)—an exciting and groundbreaking initiative aimed at harmonizing building energy supply and demand through intelligent integration. Collaborate with young researchers and students from the 4TU universities to tackle real-world challenges and create solutions that will shape the future of energy in buildings. Network with academic and industry experts, gain insights, and get inspired to make an impact.

Day 1: Hackathon— For MSc/PhDs/Postdocs

During the hackathon, the challenge will focus on improving the energy system efficiency of buildings. This could entail solutions around decentralized energy hubs for buildings, smart grid sustainability, AI driven demand response-control systems and any other solution you may come up with.

The top 3 groups will earn exciting prize money!

Day 2: Workshop—Open to all participants!

All participants — especially young researchers such as Associate and Assistant Professors, Postdocs, PhD students, and professionals— are welcome to join an engaging workshop focused on idea exchange, expert talks, and the latest research in responsive building energy systems. Whether you're applying your skills or expanding your research horizons, BRIDGE is your chance to connect, innovate, and make a meaningful impact.
