'Harde Knip' - concerning admittance to Master's programme

The University of Twente will apply strict rules with regard to enrolment in our master’s degree programmes.

In Dutch this rule is called: ‘harde knip’, and it implies that students may only start taking master’s degree courses upon having completed their bachelor’s or pre-master’s programme completely.

So all Bachelor/PM courses must have been completed successfully on 31 August / 31 January, in order to start in the Master’s programme by 1 September / 1 February.

Please be aware that the UT has to apply this rule as a result of Dutch legislation.
