Welcome to Vijaykumaran Alagarsamy, a new PhD researcher at the Radio Systems group!
Vijaykumaran is new a Ph.D. candidate at the Radio System group working under the supervision of Dr. Sujith Raman. He pursued a master’s in Electronics and Instrumentation at Bharathiar University, India. He effectuated the “Design and development of compact dual-band shared aperture antenna” as his final year project under the Society of Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research (SAMEER), MeitY, Government of India. He also has two years of industrial experience with dipole antenna design & optimization for dual-band Wi-Fi devices, prototype validation, and far-field anechoic chamber measurements of phased arrays, directional, sectoral, and omnidirectional antennas.
At UT, Vijaykumaran will be owrking on the topic “Development of Biomaterial-based Microwave Sensor Networks.”
