Welcome to Alejandro Antón Ruiz ! A new Phd student in the Radio Systems group

Alejandro is an Early-Stage Researcher for the ITN-5VC project, where he will be developing joint Over-The-Air measurements of radar sensors and phased arrays in 5G V2X.

Alejandro Antón Ruiz was born in 1997 in Elche, Alicante, Spain. He obtained his BScs in Telecommunications Engineering and Business Administration from the Universidad Politècnica de València (UPV) in 2020, and his MSc in Telecommunications Technologies, Systems and Networks in 2021, also from the UPV. From December 2020 to January 2022 he has been working in the iTEAM University Institute of UPV, involved in the 5G CARMEN European project, where he took part of digital twin simulation, including V2X communications. Additionally, he has been working in a project with Huawei Düsseldorf named “Cell-less deployment with Intelligent Reflecting Surfaces and micro-antennas”, focusing on IRS system modelling. In February 2022 he joined the University of Twente as an Early-Stage Researcher for the ITN-5VC, where he will be developing joint Over-The-Air measurements of radar sensors and phased arrays in 5G V2X, basing the channel emulation on mixed Rich Isotropic MultiPath (RIMP) and Random Line-of-Sight (RLOS) models.
