Dr. Nikita Sharma Defends her PhD

On the leap day - February 29th, 2024, Dr. Nikita Sharma successfully defended her PhD thesis titled "Sensing the Care: Advancing Unobtrusive Sensing Solutions to support Informal Caregivers of Older Adults with Cognitive Impairment" from the University of Twente, Netherlands and the University of Oulu, Finland.

Nikita's work blends the worlds of elderly-care and unobtrusive smart sensing technologies. Her research has been published in several high-profile conferences and journals, demonstrating the quality and impact of her research.
