Congratulations to Maha Yousfi and her team for winning the Best Paper Award at the ECPLF Conference in Bologna, Italy! 🏆🎉
Maha's research on "Innovative Off-Body Monitoring of Dairy Calves' Vital Signs for Early Disease Detection: A Thermal Imaging Approach" is part of the Youngsters project, a collaboration between the Pervasive Systems Group at the University of Twente and the Agricultural Biosystems Engineering Group from Wageningen University & Research.
This groundbreaking work uses a simple thermal camera to non-invasively measure calves' heart rate, offering a promising solution for early disease detection in dairy farming. 🐄💡
We are proud of Maha and her team's efforts and look forward to further advancements in this exciting field!
