NWO, along with IPN organized the domestic conference ICT.OPEN2022 on recent and exciting developments in ICT research. The event took place on April 6 and 7, 2022 in Amsterdam RAI with several interesting talks, keynotes, and posters in different ICT tracks.
Paul Havinga was invited as a guest by Informatica Platform Nederland (IPN) for a round table discussion on ongoing and future ICT research directions. A major aspect discussed was how we could keep the ICT community sustainable and effective in both education and research, as the needs of society are exponentially growing.
The Smart Connected Bikes (SCB) project was invited by the 4TU Netherlands Institute for Research on ICT (4TU.NIRICT) to present a poster at the event. Yanqiu Huang and Deepak Yeleshetty from the PS group represented the SCB project and also designed the poster. The poster attracted many peers and initiated fruitful conversations about the project. We thank 4TU.NIRICT for this opportunity and look forward to more collaborations in the future.
