On Thursday 14 December, we could all say goodbye to Pranab Mandal.
Like his wife - Nelly Litvak - Pranab will also switch jobs from the UT to the TU/e.
Pranab started his career within TW in the Statistics Department and when Prof. Wim Albers retired there was no successor for his chair and so Pranab became a member of the MaST group.
Hans Zwart, chair of the MaST group, addressed Pranab with kind words and presented him with the gift: a bicycle tour in Brabant with hotel accommodation. That way, he can discover his new surroundings nicely.
We wish Pranab a happy cycling holiday and good luck at TU/e!
