The objective of the TIPICAL project is to enhance the benefits of infusion systems such as pumps and bags. By developing flow sensors for real-time diagnostic purposes, a calibration method to accurately calibrate the infusion pumps, and a transfer standard to travel between the calibration laboratories and the point-of-use safety and precision in medical infusion systems will be significantly improved.
The TIPICAL project is funded through the EUROSTARS Programme and performed in close cooperation with Bronkhorst High-Tech B.V. and BioFluidix GmbH.
