Students and young professionals in the field of engineering are invited to a new edition of the KIVI Innovation Drinks Twente. This edition will start with two inspiring presentations about Robotics and will conclude with an informal networking drink. We are very proud to announce this time a presentation and demonstration by the RoboTeam Twente.
RoboTeam Twente is a multidisciplinary team of students from the University of Twente. Their goal is to build and program innovative soccer robots capable of competing in the RoboCup. RoboCup is the world championship of robot soccer with five specialized leagues.
This is the first time a student team from the University of Twente will participate in the RoboCup. The team consists of students with different backgrounds, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, creative technology, and industrial design engineering.
The second presentation will be held by one of the sponsor companies.
