We propose, analyze and discuss analytical performance models for simple
wireless ad hoc network scenarios. The models capture the system
dynamics at both the packet and flow level. Particular focus is on
analyzing the impact of sharing common radio transmission resources
among different network 'links' on flow transfer times and packet
delays/buffer occupancies. Key words: WLAN, IEEE 802.11E, multi-hop ad hoc network, processor
