Identifying a great entrepreneurial opportunity: Can machine learning help?

In this PLD Entrepreneurial talk, Dorian Proksch, assistant professor for high-tech business at the University of Twente, will address the topic of applying machine learning to identify entrepreneurial opportunities. He will give insights and examples on how machine learning can be used for the topics of technology assessment, market assessment, and competition assessment. Thereby, he will discuss which data can be used and what you can expect as a result of using various machine learning methods. This is not only relevant for the creation of new ventures, but also for established firms when planning to introduce new products, services or business models.

This interactive lecture and discussion are open to practitioners, students, staff and anyone from the region. The session will also be attended by colleagues and coaches of the European Panther Programme and Flanders Business School.
