Campus Carillon Circle

Sinterklaas concert Campus Carillon Circle

Sinterklaas, also known as Saint Nicholas, is dear to the hearts of Dutch children. He can be recognised by his striking red cape with red mitre and his long white beard. The good saint arrives every year in mid-November on a steamboat full of gifts together with his assistants, who are all called 'Piet' (Peter).

Sinterklaas' birthday is celebrated on December 5, a tradition in the Netherlands. Because of this occasion, the 10 members of the Campus Carillon Circle will play the 49 bells of the Campus Carillon. A full hour of traditional and more recent St. Nicholas songs will then resound over Campus.

Take a walk through the park and sing along!
