Vrijhof Culture presents new art exhibitions every 6 weeks in the Vrijhof, on the Campus of the University of Twente (UT). Our starting point is to make exhibitions with young professional artists mostly from this region. As an exception to this, during the WAK (Week of Amateur Art) we give priority to students and employees of the UT itself.
This year it is the student Ugo Petrus Nnebedum, an industrial design engineering student at the University of Twente.
Ugo Petrus Nnebedum is a self-taught mixed media artist. He started with pencil portraits then evolved into pencil colours then watercolours and finally morphed into all kinds of materials virtual and traditional which he does on different mediums, for instance textile, paper or wood.
His work will be shown via a beamer presentation with one original as an addition, to show the visitor how it is made.
