You like to laugh or you want to get your inner laugh back? You want to share your laugh and have a good time with other people? And you want to integrate these experiences in daily-life? Then try our Laughter Yoga workshop! Everybody can join and no experience is needed. Comfortable clothes are recommended.

It is scientifically proven that laughing has a positive influence on body and mind: It reduces the production of the stress hormones cortisol and adrenaline. The production of endorphins increases, which has a positive influence on our well-being. Moreover, the immune system and all areas of the brain get activated. We also use hundreds of muscles when we laugh. Finally, laughter yoga helps to overcome fears and depression and supports a good sleep.

Why Laughter Yoga?

Daily life at University sometimes is difficult, because of the pressure and challenges we as students, PhD’s and employees must face. Consequently, we might not relax easily and enjoy what we are doing. Laughter Yoga could bring balance in your life. Laughing is more powerful in a group. In the Laughter Yoga classes, we could open up more to others, because of the relaxing environment. We can better connect with each other, increase trust, social wellbeing and finally, just have fun.
