Complaint or objection

  • I have completed less EC during the recognized delayed period than is mentioned in the decision. What to do?

Please contact the registry of the Personal Circumstances Committee (CPO) and sent proof of your actual achievement during that period. Based on that the decision of the CPO may be adjusted.

  • I don't agree with the decision. What to do?

You can file an objection at the Complaints Desk within 6 weeks after the date the decision was sent to you by sending an email to studentservices@utwente.nl or by submitting it at the Student Services desk.

  • What happens if I have lodged an objection?

The Personal Circumstances Committee (CPO) will be asked whether, based on your objection, an amicable settlement is possible. If so, this settlement will be offered to you. When you agree, you can withdraw your objection.
When you don't agree or a settlement isn't offered, the Personal Circumstances Committee (CPO) will inform you and the Disputes Committee of their argumentation. You will get the opportunity to respond.  A hearing may be organised, in which both parties get the opportunity to give their opinion. Then the Disputes Committee draws up their advice for the Executive Board. The Executive Board decides on the objection taken into account the advice of the Disputes Committee.
