RESULT
In this course participants will acquire knowledge of using Dutch in their work environment. As you may have noticed, Dutch colleagues have a rather informal way of communicating with each other. They also use different standard phases, depending on the situation, work relationship, company culture and even Dutch region.
CONTENT
Dutch for daily work situations, you learn how to:
- request, propose and introduce something,
- turn something down, apologize
- give positive and negative feedback,
- advise,
- how to respond correctly in certain social situations.
The course consists of group tuition. Each lesson includes a variety of practical and interactive learning activities, covering all skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking.
Please note that this course will extend your knowledge on B1 level. In case you wish to reach level B2, sign up for Professional Dutch.
DURATION AND
TIME INVESTMENT
Attendance at every lesson is essential. The course consists of nine lessons of two hours each, with one session per week. Homework is expected to take approximately three hours per lesson.
ADMISSION CRITERIA
Admission is granted on the basis of certificates obtained from earlier language courses, in this case Dutch B1 Intermediate (B1 level); or an intake exam, which can be found in the following link: NT2 Intake exam
