Ganzenveld seems to be an ordinary village, but it’s full of queer birds.
The ambitious Jessie Snavel takes her chances when Ganzenveld seeks a new mayor and starts a campaign, but doesn’t realise what problems exist in the village. Jessie campaigns against Donald de Woerd, a man who makes outrageous claims, but somehow manages to win the people over. Jessie and Donald make grand promises, but do they hold when the new mayor is chosen?
