Development and strengthening of skill lines and interdisciplinary modules
What is it?
The BMS Teaching Academy offers a dedicated service to help you design or redesign your skills and interdisciplinary education or integrate (elements of) skills and interdisciplinary education in your courses, modules or programmes. The aim is to create engaging education for students and teachers that fits the theoretical and practical knowledge as well as academic and professional skills related to the course or programme.
What kind of support do we provide?
We provide dedicated guidance and hands-on support, ranging from a chat with a cup of coffee to intensive educational design. A few examples of how we can help you are;
- co-develop full-fletched interdisciplinary courses, modules and programmes, both inside and outside of curricula;
- co-develop full-fletched skills lines as well as single-skill education within existing courses;
- provide materials for students and teachers, including microlectures, literature and workshop templates;
- organise tailored interdisciplinarity or skills workshops for students or teachers;
- advise on any issues or opportunities that may arise during the design and teaching of interdisciplinary or skills education or elements thereof;
