After its success in the past academic year, we are re-launching the professional learning community (PLC) on blended learning (BL).
Key information:
- When? Starting from in Q1 2023-24 (Oct); end date decided by participants (min one quartile).
- Expected time commitment? 1 h / month for the meeting + 1–2 h for preparation
- For whom? BMS teachers who are interested in experimenting with BL in their education or already have some experience with it.
- How does this PLC work? The group meets once a month for 1 hour to discuss a topic inherent to BL chosen by the participants themselves. The facilitator helps organise the sessions, guide the discussions, and substantiate them with research-based contents.
- What type of activities does it involve? This essentially depends on the participants' goals and preferences. Common activities include guest presentations, discussions of research papers, peer assessment, discussion of case studies from own practice, etc.
