Effectiveness study TemplateDoc

The organization

DigiDok develops, implements and scales up digital tools and optimises healthcare processes, bringing the patient and healthcare provider closer together. DigiDok specialises in digitising medical content and designing decision trees and algorithms for high-quality and efficient care. We also have a consultancy division; our main clients are healthcare groups and GP practices. We have been around for 4 years and are a growing company with ambition to substantially improve healthcare.

With our solutions, we are active in primary care, especially at GP practices and GP surgeries. We offer our tools via existing ICT platforms and systems that already have a wide reach and are widely used by patients and care providers. We are also active in ambulance care, POH-GGZ and chronic care.

The current assignment

One of our products is TemplateDoc. Healthcare providers can use TemplateDoc to quickly provide patients with medical advice and start a policy. TemplateDoc is a module with answer templates and contains, in addition to understanding and patient-friendly texts, explanations of the complaints, medical advice, the intended policy and a safety net. In addition, the templates are linked to data that can be automatically entered into the system. In this way, a lot of work is taken out of the caregiver's hands and a lot of time is saved on administration.

Now that TemplateDoc has been used for a while, we would like to measure the effectiveness of the product in healthcare and the work of caregivers. Are the intended goals being achieved? Does using templates actually save time and administration, and by how much? To investigate this, we are looking for an ambitious and proactive intern, who can find answers to these questions through interviews with care providers.
