Description:
We examine how AI affects the craftsmanship of physicians, taking into account different medical specialisms and all types of AI. We will do this by conducting in-depth interviews with medical specialists, and then quantifying this with a survey. Then, through focus groups, we will look at how the impact of AI on craftmanship can be incorporated into a guideline for a responsible design and implementation process of AI in healthcare. Our consortium represents the voice of physicians in Dutch hospitals, the perspective of research on craftmanship, the perspective of AI developers, the methodological knowledge related to the human-centred design perspective. Ultimately, we want to enable sustainable healthcare delivery with optimal interaction between doctors and AI.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Dutch-speaking student who is accurate and analytical to carry out a large part of the research. This involves both qualitative research through interviews and feedback sessions with focus groups, and quantitative research through surveys.
