Mediator analysis
In a mediation analysis, we seek to identify and explain the mechanism that underlies the relationship between two variables by inclduing a third variable, the mediatior variable.
For your analysis, we advise you using the tool PROCESS. You can download the software for R and SPSS here. For an overview of the several mediation models that are available see here. Baron and Kenny created a website with a step-by-step plan of how to conduct a mediation analysis.
