Logiquay

Adaptive Multi-Actor Multi-Modal Closed-Loop Planning and Logistics for Renewal and Renovation of Urban Bridges and Quay Walls

Many historic city centers, like Amsterdam, are facing a serious problem: their bridges and quay walls are crumbling after decades of use and are reaching the end of their lives. Urgent repairs and replacements are needed, but fixing them is a massive puzzle. It’s not just about the huge amount of work; it’s about doing it without disrupting city life or harming the environment.

Loqiquay has a plan to tackle this. The project is developing smarter ways to manage these projects by focusing on:

  • Faster results: Using better management tools to get the work done more efficiently.
  • Eco-friendly solutions: Recycling old materials and cutting down on waste.
  • Cleaner streets: Reducing the number of heavy trucks driving through the city, which means fewer emissions and less traffic.
