On April 9, 10 & 11, 2025, the University of Twente and the education working group of the Dutch AI Coalition | NL AIC are organizing the fourth edition of the Hackathon AI in Education. We cordially invite teachers, school leaders, managers, students, pupils and other interested parties to form a multidisciplinary team (6-8 people) and work on their own case to improve the quality of primary, secondary, vocational and/or higher education with smart technology.
Practical Information
- When: April 9, 10 & 11, 2025
- Where: Designlab, University of Twente
- Time: April 9: evening program with dinner, April 10: all day and April 11 until 15:00
- For whom: PO-VO-MBO-HO-WO teachers, school leaders, managers, students, pupils, information specialists & other interested parties
- Cost: Free (catering included, in case of no-show/absence there will be a € 50 charge)
- Attendance: we hope you will be present for most of the hackathon. However, you are free to provide education in between, for example.
- Team composition: in teams of 6-8 people. Preferably multidisciplinary teams with also students/students as team members
- Maximum space for: 12 teams
- Deadline for registration: February 28, 2025
- Accommodation: not included, but you are of course free to book accommodation (e.g. U-park Hotel, Enschede or De Broeierd Enschede)
- Organized by: University of Twente, in cooperation with AID-E network, CEE, DSI, Dutch AI Coalition, Turner, Pre-U, Pro-U, DesignLab and department ELAN
