On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, the University of Twente (UT) and Hospital Group Twente (ZGT) welcome you for an interactive afternoon full of inspiration and knowledge sharing.
When someone is diagnosed with cancer, a challenging and emotional period begins. Being well informed is essential to get through this well. To empower people both during and after treatment, digital technology can help.
On this afternoon, Dr. Siemerink will give an insight into the need and possibilities within oncology for personalising and increasing self-direction in practice through technology. Next, Lianne Tolboom, MSc, will present the results of the PERSONA project on tailoring online information. During an interactive network market, various initiatives and parties will participate in the field of digital technology from Twente and beyond. Finally, a broad panel session will reflect on what direction we need to take for good collaboration on patient empowerment in oncology with digital technology.
