Project 'Datateams' University of Twente

The University of Twente and Stichting Carmelcollege signed a cooperation agreement at the end of 2011. In 2010 and 2011, a pilot study consisting out of five teams took place at a couple of Carmel schools. The first results of this pilot study are extremely positive. Teachers were taught to use data to improve education. Moreover, the teams moved from intuitive to more data-based decision making.

As indicated in this agreement, 20 teams will start work at several Carmel schools. The project is not only meant to improve the quality of education at these schools, but it is also in accordance with Carmel’s objective to help their pupils and employees excel.
