💡 UT alumnus Udaya Vasepalli (ME ’20) noticed a problem in the excess production and waste of reusable plastic bags and looked for a solution. Based in Enschede, his startup LoopTas provides software and hardware that stimulates reuse. Together with retail partners like the COOP, Dirk and PLUS Lammenschans, LoopTas engages consumers in custom loyalty programs and enriches our sustainability one ‘LoopTas’ at a time - check the images below to find out more!
Do you know a UT'er behind a consumer product making our environment more sustainable? Email us their names so the Alumni Office can perhaps also feature them in one of our upcoming 'UT'ers doing Good!' posts on Instagram and Facebook.Â
