GET A GLIMPSE INTO THE INNER WORKINGS OF INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS THROUGH ALUMNI GATHERINGS THIS SEPTEMBER in HOUSTON (07/09), Washington DC (12/09), New YORK CITY (14/09), Zurich (27/09) & Geneva (28/09).   

Organized by the Alumni Offices of TU Delft, TU Eindhoven, UT & Wageningen University, the following DEAN* events put a spotlight on alumni careers within prominent international organizations like CERN, ICAN, European Space Agency (ESA), United Nations, World Bank & World Economic Forum. 


Houston

Get ready for an out-of-this-world experience with fellow alumni at an exclusive afternoon tour of NASA’s Johnson Space Center led by TU Delft alumnus and head of the European Space Agency (ESA) Houston Office, Eric van der Wal. Enjoy a unique visit at the JSC Mission Control, the Astronaut Training Facility and the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility, while hearing from Eric about his experiences working with NASA . [More ...]

Hosted at the Dutch Embassy in Washington DC this event features two great speakers! Hear from Siet Meijer (alumna WUR) about working as a Senior Environmental Specialist at the World Bank and her career spanning over 18 years. Learn from Maurice te Plate (alumnus UT) about being a systems engineer in the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) project and thoughts about an effort that has lasted him over two decades. [More ...]

Hosted at the Dutch Consulate General in New York this event includes both a great keynote speaker as well as panelists! Hear from Ard Venema (alumnus UT) about his career of over eighteen years at the United Nations. Ard originally started with the Procurement Division in 2005 and is currently responsible for contracting strategic commodities in support of UN field missions around the world. Afterwards explore what it's like to work for the UN from recent alumni hirees during a panel discussion. [More ...]

Together, they represent over 300,000 alumni all over the world.
