The Female Faculty Network Twente proposes a thematic conference on the topic “Fix the Women or Fix the Institution?”. The conference will feature three keynote talks by esteemed experts and an engaging panel discussion, that will include both our speakers and University of Twente managers.

Keynote speakers
- Prof Tanya Bondarouk (Full Professor and Dean, BMS, University of Twente): “Doing Gender, Practising Politics: are we on the right track in academia?”
- Dr Stephanie McKendry (Deputy Director of Student Experience, U. Strathclyde): “A UK Perspective: the impact of the Athena SWAN charter on gender equality at a university level”
- MSc Karin Sluis (Managing Director, Witteveen+Bos): “How wearing socks can improve diversity in your organization”
Panel discussion
- Prof Vinod Subramaniam (President Executive Board, University of Twente),
- Prof Joost Kok (Dean EEMCS, University of Twente),
