During ORAHS 2012, there will be two types of presentations, namely oral presentations and poster presentations.
For more information, see below.
Abstract submission is closed. If you have any questions, you can contact us.
Oral presentations
- Oral presentations will get 20 minute slots (excluding discussion) during parallel sessions.
- For these presentations, an extended abstract/paper of at least two pages should be submitted (using the format you can find below), together with an abstract of max. 250 words.
- The 250-word abstract will be available in the conference handbook.
- The extended abstract/paper will be available in the proceedings on the website and on the USB stick (with ISBN) handed out to all participants.
- Until July 1, it is possible to submit an updated version of the extended abstract/paper to be included in the proceedings.
- Please submit your extended abstract/conference proceeding as PDF file and use the following filename convention "FirstAuthorFirstName_FirstAuthorLastName-Title.pdf", and replace any spaces in your filename by underscores ("_"). Use this template for the extended abstract or this template for the paper. We will include your extended abstract/paper "as is" and not make any lay-out or formatting edits.
Poster presentations
- Posters will be presented during elevator pitches of 2 minutes during a plenary session. After the plenary session, there will be the opportunity to further discuss posters with the presenter during a poster session.
- For the poster presentations, an abstract of 250 words needs to be submitted. This abstract will be available in the conference handbook.
- Furthermore, an introduction to the poster in a PowerPoint presentation of 1 slide needs to be submitted before July 1. This file will be used during the elevator pitches, and will be available on USB stick which is handed out to all participants.
- Finally, it is possible to submit the poster in pdf format to be included on the USB stick. The deadline for submitting the final poster is July 1.
- Presentation during the poster session is open for all researchers.
