Dr. Xing Yi Ling, a recent MNF graduate, has received the IUPAC Young Chemists Award 2009! This is a yearly award for 5 outstanding young chemists worldwide. She has received the award for her contributions to 3D nanoparticle assembly. She is currently a postdoctoral student at the University of Berkeley, California, USA, in the group of Prof. Peidong Yang, on an NWO Rubicon grant. She will receive the award at the upcoming IUPAC conference in August this year in Glasgow, Scotland.
