Biography
My name is Ana Orive and I was born in Madrid (Spain) in 1995. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2017 at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). After graduating, I started my Master’s in Biomedical Engineering – Imaging and Diagnostics at University of Twente. I finished my internship in the field of Cardiovascular Optoacoustics in Helmholtz Zentrum München and now I will be working on my Master’s thesis at the Magnetic Detection and Imaging group at University of Twente.
Research interests
During my Master’s thesis I will be working on a novel probe for laparoscopic detection of sentinel lymph nodes in cancer patients by means of Differential Magnetometry (DiffMag).
