BIOGRAPHY
Sebastiaan Waanders (1985) is a physicist with a background in solid state physics, and one of the original inventors of the DiffMag technique. After his work in the MD&I group, he now manages all shared facilities of the TechMed Centre, which include microbiological labs, imaging facilities and the simulation centre.
As department head, he is responsible for the day to day operations of the TechMed Centre’s expansive simulation centre, investment decisions and policy development for optimal usage of our facilities by our educational programmes, research groups and various external parties.
