BIOGRAPHY
As a breast surgeon my main research interest has been ductal breast carcinoma in situ and its progression into invasive breast cancer. However, during the last eight years another focus has been the magnetic technique. We have been investigating possibilities with the new technique but also its draw backs. Two surgeons have defended their theses regarding clinical aspects of the technique and a three other PhD-students are on their way. Since two years, I am working in Gothenburg, the largest breast and melanoma unit in Sweden. We are broadening our network and we run several multicentre clinical trials.
