Sertan Sukas, PhD

Resume

Sertan Sukas was born in Rize, Turkey in 1982. He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering in 2004 at Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. He continued his studies at the same department and received his MS degree in September 2007 on developing all polymer, MEMS based electrophoresis chips for DNA analyses. From October 2007 till December 2011, he has been working as a PhD researcher in the field of liquid chromatography.

From March 2012 Sertan is working in the BIOS group of the University of Twente.

The project: Developing a LOC system for parallel single cell analyses, which are individual cell capture and in situ lysis, extraction and amplification of cell content, and on-line analysis of the products.
