Anouk Bosman (20) studies Analytical Chemistry at the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen and is also enrolled in the Analytical Sciences Talent Program (ASTP) from COAST. Currently, she is doing her Bachelor Graduation Internship at MCS, where she works on design and development of a portable system that detects human DNA at crime scenes. Previously, she had an internship at the Radboud University, Department of Molecular and Laser Physics, where she took part in a project called CHECKPACK. The goal of this project was to develop an optical sensor within food packaging which will tell the user the conditions of the food inside. Furthermore, Anouk did her minor research internship at the Wageningen University, Department of Organic Chemistry, where she developed an interphase between Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) and ESI mass spectrometry. In addition, Anouk developed a method to shear of captured analytes from a biosensor chip and detected these analytes with ESI mass spectrometry. Upon graduation, she considers joining the (pre-) master program in Nanotechnology or Biomedical Engineering.
