Yannick Klein was born on Saarbrücken, Germany in 1990. He received his master degree in mechatronics engineering with a minor in MEMS technology in Germany, University of Saarlandes in 2016. He joined the MCS-group 2017 where he started working on the development of a mobile- microfluidic NMR sensor. He is researching new magnet configurations and novel ways to achieve a high homogeneity in magnetic fields, containing active and passive shimming methods. He also focuses on the improvement of a stripline-based transmitter/receiver element and microfluidic multiphase measurements.
