Condensed Matter Theory postdoc position on Quantum Thermodynamics of Topological Materials at University of Twente, the Netherlands
The research group of Prof. Inanc Adagideli at the University of Twente is looking to appoint a postdoctoral researcher starting as early as fall 2021. We are looking for a candidate with a background in Condensed Matter Theory, while a background in spintronics, mesoscopic physics or quantum thermodynamics would be preferable. The position will be for a duration of one year, with a possible yearly extension.
The successful candidate will be working on the theory of the interactions between nuclear spins and topological edge states from the point of view of quantum thermodynamics and quantum transport. The candidate will be expected to work closely with the experimental group of Prof. Alexander Brinkman.
To apply, please send a full CV including a list of publications, a brief statement of research experience and interests and arrange at least two reference letters to be send to firstname.lastname@example.org.
