Dr. Jacqueline Plass
Background information
Jacqueline (1974) studied Biology at the University of Groningen. After obtaining her master’s degree in Medical Biology, she started her PhD training at the research lab of the department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology of the University Medical Center Groningen. In 2005 she successfully defended her thesis called ”Function and Regulation of the Human Bile Salt Export Pump”. In November 2007, Jacqueline started working at the department of Tissue Regeneration of the University Twente, as a research technician within the group of Marcel Karperien. In January 2012, Jacqueline continued her work within the new chair of Professor Marcel Karperien, the department of Developmental BioEngineering.
