MORE INFO

Lin Zhong was born on August 17, 1990 in China. Lin received his B.Sc. degree in the subject of Biotechnology at the Southern Medical University in June,2013. Start from September,2014, he continued his Master education in a major of Bioengineering at National Center for Nanoscience and Technology , Chinese Academy of Science, China. His master thesis focused on investigating the effects of carbon nanotubes on cardiovascular functions and mechanism of the changes in central nervous system, particularly in cardiovascular center. In 2017, he started as a PhD student in the Developmental BioEngineering group of prof. dr. Marcel Karperien. He current research focuses on exploiting novel nano-and microgel platforms for therapeutic VHH delivery in the joint cavity to reduce pain and induce cartilage repair in osteoarthritis by intra-articular injection.
