Biography
In March 2013, she received, with honors, master's degree in Medical Biotechnology at University of Bologna. She studied for a year at Policlinico S. Orsola Malpighi, in the exploration of functional gastrointestinal laboratory, where she worked with Prof. R. De Giorgio and his team. During this period she worked on her experimental thesis, which had as its object the development of an alternative therapy for the treatment of mitochondrial disease MNGIE. She looked also to study the correlation between changes in the Enteric Nervous System and Parkinson's disease. Since June 2013 she began her experience at Aczon, and currently plays a central role within the European FP7 project, for the characterisation of CTC (FP7 project CTCtrap).
