In Lingen – a German town in Lower Saxony – you can’t miss the energy transition. Two nuclear power plants have been shut down. In order to provide the region with electricity a gas-power plant has been built. Also the future is taken into account, since a brand-new hydrogen plant is being constructed. So, if you want to experience the energy transition in full, join this excursion. Bodo Schlünzen, a former nuclear power plant operator, will explain what it takes to dismantle a nuclear reactor. He will also take us on a tour to the gas and hydrogen plant. Including lunch at an idyllic cooling lake. In cooperation with KIVI Students Twente and Ockham.
