Welcome to Primo Ballerino – the student association for classical ballet at the University of Twente!
Since our founding in 2019, we have been bringing the beauty of classical ballet closer to students of all dance levels. Whether you've been at the barre for years or are just learning your first plié, at Primo Ballerino, you’ll find a place to grow, challenge yourself, and most importantly, enjoy dance. Our professional instructors provide weekly classes focused on technique, expression, and, of course, the joy of dancing.
But Primo Ballerino is more than just dance classes. As an association, we create a warm and friendly community where everyone feels at home. In addition to our lessons, we frequently organize social and cultural activities. Think of fun get-togethers, movie nights, and workshops that allow you to dive deeper into the world of dance. We also take trips to dance performances and work on our own shows so you can experience the stage yourself!
