The Female Faculty Network Twente invites you to a half day workshop:
Led by Erna Lankhorst
26 April 2016 from 13.30 till 16.30 hrs.
In Conference hotel Drienerburght
"There is always discussion on the way a woman sounds. Why is that?
Don’t they use their voices in a proper way? Are they talking too feminine, too high, low, soft, loud, fast, bitchy etc. etc.? Or is it just because we are not used to powerful women? What can a woman do to sound warm, energetic, harmonious, magnetic? The workshop includes time for exercises, theory and discussion and we will train voice and presentation skills. We’ll discuss the vocal fry, the up-talk and the drawback of women. The focus will be on magnetism with the audience; how to use silence, how to make contact with the audience, how to find your warm voice and make it sound attracting and appealing. "
Erna Lankhorst studied psychology, speech therapy and speech- & language pathology. She took master classes with several voice- and theatre teachers and has more than 20 years teaching and coaching experience in communication skills, storytelling, voice work and body language.
