To celebrate International Women’s Day, the two women’s networks of the UT: OBP-VN (administrative and managerial staff) and FFNT (Female Faculty Network) invite you to:
Presentation by Dr. Timotheus Vermeulen
Assistant professor Cultural studies and theory, Radboud University Nijmegen
on March 9, 12.45-13.30hrs, followed by discussion
in the Vrijhof, Amphitheater.
Before the presentation there will be an informal lunch.
Background
Dr. Timotheus Vermeulen is assistant professor Cultural studies and theory at the Radboud University Nijmegen where he is also leading the Centre for New Aesthetics. He frequently writes about contemporary art, movies and television, especially about meta modernism. His most recent book is Scenes from the Suburbs (Edinburgh University Press, 2014), about image of the common American city in movies and on television.
